Sitting here listening to Apple Music I am transported to my favorite beach bar on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. Dune Bar sits perched above the beach and is the lounge for Dune, Michelin-starred Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s French-Asian restaurant at Ocean Club, now a Four Seasons resort.
Dune Bar is always my “soft landing” after a visit to the Ocean Club’s pampering spa. Since I’m always hungry when I emerge from the spa, visiting Dune Bar for cocktails and a nosh is the perfect way to glide in the vague direction of my evening. Wood shutters tucked away to maximize the views of the Bahamian sea, gentle breeze, and all. Welcoming bartenders with great bartending skills are ready to craft you the perfect cocktail. I suggest you order food too. I love the effortless elegance of the Ocean Club.
Time at the Ocean Club is definitely a #LifeIsGood moment
Breezy luxe awaits…
I stay down the beach at either the Cove or Royal Towers at Atlantis but I love the spa at the Ocean Club –
it’s quiet luxury via their serene and private spa villas.
Serene & private spa villas
Guests of Atlantis and Ocean Club can room charge at both resorts making it easy and convenient. Also, there are shuttles that run between Atlantis and the Ocean Club so it’s easy to enjoy the best of what each resort has to offer.
I have so many fun things to share about my adopted home-away-from-home so this is the first in a series about the Bahamas. Enjoy the day!
